The main research themes pursued in the lab is cancer-mediated inflammation and cancer mediated immuno-suppression.

研究についてのPR
It is important in cancer to decipher the components of inflammation at the molecular, cellular and physiological levels. Indeed, the relevance to cancer is obvious since tumor progression often correlates with a dysregulation of inflammation. Tumor cells can escape immune surveillance by taking a passive advantage because of a disruption in this fine-tuned equilibrium between pro- and anti- inflammatory response. Resorbing of a tumor could be achieved by acting on pro- and/or anti- inflammatory signals to restore immune homeostasis. We aim to investigate this matter using melanoma, mesothelioma and thymoma –bearing mice tumor models.
